The Alliance encourages lifelong learning, mutual respect, and interdisciplinary collaboration while recognizing the diversity of education, experience, and professional pathways within the equine industry.

Meet the Founders
EWA was founded by Jennifer and Michelle, who met in the spring of 2022 and quickly discovered a shared vision: bringing equine professionals together to improve communication, collaboration, and ultimately, the welfare of the horse.
They recognized a growing need for owners and professionals to navigate a sea of misinformation, mixed messages, and disconnected approaches. Too often, everyone is speaking a different language, and the horse pays the price.
The Equine Wellness Alliance was created to change that. We connect professionals, encourage collaboration, and provide owners with trusted resources. EWA is building a community united by one shared priority: Horse First. Always.

Jennifer McCallister
I’m a second generation horsewoman, raising the third. Doing better for horses takes more than good intentions… it takes science, skill, and real physical work, plus the inner work to match. That’s what I teach.

Michelle Scarzone
Founder of Simply Equine Solutions, dedicated to helping horses return to balance through observation, holistic wellness, bodywork, postural rehabilitation, and nervous system support. Through her work with EWA, she hopes to reach more horse owners and professionals, expanding awareness, encouraging collaboration, and creating meaningful change for the horses who depend on us.

Cori Deltoro
Cori began as an equine veterinary technician serving exotics and horses. Today, she owns and operates her own equine bodywork practice, Top Line Therapeutic. She also shares her love of horses with people through through Top Line Coaching. She believes strongly in professional collaboration across the field and is excited to bring her experience and her commitment to the horse as a whole to serve the Equine Wellness Alliance.

Dawn Adams
I have been a horse lover since I was a little girl. At the age of 32, I finally purchased my first horse, beginning a journey that would continue to deepen for these incredible animals. It wasn’t until 2019 that I truly began to understand the emotional needs of horses. Today, helping my horses receive the emotional and physical care they deserve has become my passion.
